Golf for Dummies
I'm taking up golf. This was a great guide - Gary McCord is funny and doesn't take things too seriously; however, I was sometimes a bit put off by his self-deprecation as it made me question his "street cred."
Don't worry about his street cred - he knows golf.
Look to "How I play Golf" by Tiger Woods - it's on your shelf. That book will show you the perfect swing. There are photographs from multiple angles depicting the swing - good book, it'll make a difference. Of course, you have the camera and can do your own training.
Be sure to work on the short game - it's very important and can be done in/at the house.

Yeah yeah, one golf book is enough for now. It's kind of dry, I don't know if you noticed.
